Information We Collect

HapticBoard is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number. The app does not use analytics or advertising tracking.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app may store the following data locally on your device:

• Preferences: Your sound and haptic settings for buttons
• Cached audio: Sound files from soundboards you have loaded, stored temporarily for playback

Third-Party Services

HapticBoard uses the following services to provide functionality:

• Firebase (Google): We use Firebase Firestore and Firebase Storage to load soundboard configurations and audio files. When you scan a QR code or enter a board ID, the app fetches the corresponding data from Firebase. This data is provided by soundboard creators and is not linked to your identity.
• Camera (QR Scanner): If you use the QR code scanner to load a soundboard, the app accesses your device's camera. Camera access is used only for scanning and no images are stored or transmitted.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. The app does not track your activity across other apps or websites. Analytics and advertising are disabled.

Children's Privacy

HapticBoard does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is suitable for users of all ages.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
